Day 01: Bhubaneswar - Auckland

On arrival, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. Your room may not be ready before 2pm or 3pm (normal check in time).

Auckland - an exciting, sporting and cultural city, sprawled on a narrow isthmus, between two harbours. The Waitemata and Manukau Harbours, are a main feature of the city, along with numerous volcanic cones such as Mount Eden and Rangitoto Island. The city's many beaches, marinas and parks, make it ideal for outdoor pursuits such as yachting, rugby, cricket or a day at the beach. The Auckland metropolitan area is New Zealand's biggest city, and the population mix of European, Maori, and Pacific Islander, make Auckland the largest Polynesian city in the World.

Day 02: Auckland - Bay of Islands (Paihia)

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Pick up your rental car from city depot and then drive to Bay of Islands (Paihia).
Bay of Islands - This was the name given by Captain James Cook when he described the area 200 years ago. The Bay, studded with over 150 islands, is a "drowned river system," an area where the sea has invaded and drowned a number of river valleys. Its sheltered waters offer some of the finest boating and fishing to be found anywhere. The Bay of Islands was the site of the first Christian Mission station in New Zealand, as well as having New Zealand's first capital city, Russell, which is now a quiet little seaside village.

Day 03 :Paihia - Cape Reinga - Paihia

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Enjoy full day Cape Reinga and 90-Mile Beach tour on seat in coach basis.
Cape Reinga (7.30am - 6.30pm)
Today, you will be collected from your hotel. This fantastic Cape Reinga tour will take you on a journey through the magnificent natural wonders of the North. You will be over-awed by the grandeur of the mighty Kauri trees, the expanse of Ninety Mile Beach and the mystique of Cape Reinga. There are numerous stops for you to take in the scenic highlights and activities. They start with the easy twenty minute boardwalk through the Puketi Kauri Forest.
Thunder along Ninety Mile Beach to the top of New Zealand and wander out to the lighthouse. Ride sand sledges if you dare! Take a swim and dig for shellfish. See the picturesque village of Mangonui on your return journey to Paihia.

Day 04: Paihia - Hokianga

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Enjoy Hole in the Rock Cruise. Self-drive to Hokianga.

Departs Paihia Wharf at 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.
Departs Russell 10 minutes later (approx).
Returning 1.10 p.m. and 5.40 p.m.
Board a luxury high-speed catamaran and enjoy a comfortable journey out through game fishing waters to the Cape Brett Lighthouse. Next is Motukokako Island and the famous "Hole in the Rock"; the excitement grows as you make a passage through the Hole and on to the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave. On the return journey you will meander through the inner islands. View sandy beaches, beautiful bays and marine wildlife as your skipper gives an informative commentary. Tiger V's new state of the art visual display system will take you on a pictorial journey through the Bay's natural and cultural history, as well as offering you an exciting glimpse into life in New Zealand's largest maritime Park. Stopover on beautiful Urupukapuka Island where there are numerous activities. Enjoy one of the scenic walks, a swim or ride the Subsea Adventure, or relax on the beach.

Day 05: Hokianga - Auckland

Day 06: Auckland - Rotorua

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Drive to Rotorua.
Rotorua - located on a volcanic plateau, and formerly a spa town, Rotorua is most famous for its geothermal activity. Rotorua is the main place in New Zealand where aspects of Maori traditions can be seen, from wood carvings, and meeting houses, to a Hangi Dinner and Maori dances. Native and introduced tree species abound locally and combined with several picturesque lakes, Rotorua is a fascinating mix of culture and nature.

Day 07:Rotorua

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Rotorua sightseeing (by self-drive) including Te Puia Thermal Reserve and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute guided tour, Rainbow Springs admission and Agrodome sheep show.
Te Puia (open summer 8am-6pm, winter 8am-5pm Guided tours hourly from 9am, daytime Maori concerts 10.15am, 12.15pm & 3.15pm)
Te Puia and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute where History is carved and woven into meeting houses, canoes, weapons and jewellery. You will also experience the wonders of the thermal area by stepping into an ancient valley where geysers, mud pools and boiling waters still play after 40,000 years.
Admission to Rainbow Springs Trout and Fauna Sanctuary where you will see a live Kiwi, a living dinosaur (the Tuatara), feed the rainbow trout and enjoy a stroll through the beautiful New Zealand native bush.
Agrodome Sheep Show is presented three times daily - 9:30am, 11:00am and 2:30pm, duration of one hour. An exciting and informative insight into agriculture in New Zealand, including an introduction to our 19 breeds of sheep, sheep shearing demonstration, lively Auction, noisy Huntaway dogs and the quiet Strong-eye dog demonstrations, cow milking and lamb feeding opportunities.

Day 08: Rotorua

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. All day free at leisure and explore by self-drive.

Day 09: Rotorua - Auckland

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Self-drive to Auckland.

Day 10: Depart Auckland

Cooked breakfast is included at the hotel. Self-drive to Auckland airport. Drop off your rental car before flight check in. Depart Auckland.
