Day 01 :Bhubaneswar - Bagdogra - Gangtok

On arrival Bagdogra Airport drive to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). On arrival check in. Evening free to explore the MG market at your own. Over night at Hotel.

Day 02:Gangtok

Go for a full day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Overnight at Hotel. Day 03:Gangtok –Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake. Situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel. Optional Nathula One can opt for Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Organising the permit at the last moment is not possible & a clear window of 72 Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit. Nathula permit gets confirmed a day prior OR on the day of journey (depending on the working of the permit issuing office) & it is subjected to permit availability as it is allotted as per lottery. Nathula is closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourist. Nathula(14140 Ft / 4310 Mts / 20 Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) is an Indo China border, controlled by the Indian Army & is situated approx 20 Kms ahead of Tshangu Lake at an height of 14140 Ft / 4310. The journey to Nathula & Baba Mandir is same up to 16 Kms. At this point the right arm of the "V" which is 4 Kms takes one to Baba Mandir & left arm of the "V" which is 4 Kms takes one to Nathula.

Day 03:Gangtok – Pelling Via Namchi & Chardham

After breakfast transfer to Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts, 150 kilometers / 07 to 08 Hrs). en route visit Samdruptse (135 ft Statue of Guru Padmashambhava), Sideswari Chardham (a replica of Chardham Yatra built on Solophok hills) & Buddha Park (130 Ft. Statue of Lord Buddha). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Pelling – Yuksom Excursion

After breakfast we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs) on way panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts) it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird & Kanchanjunga Water fall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Pelling – Kalimpong

Morning after breakfast drive to Kalimpong. On arrival check in to Hotel. Visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham's Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 06: Kalimpong - Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts).On arrival check in to Hotel. Evening free to explore the hill town at your own. Over night in hotel.

Day 07: Darjeeling

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08: Darjeeling – Mirik – New Jalpaiguri - Bhubaneswar

After breakfast transfer to Mirik (4905 Ft / 1495 Mts, 50 Kms / 02 Hrs one way). Full day excursion of Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping & Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis). Evening shall be dropped at railway station for your journey back home.
