Day 01: Bhubaneswar - Almaty
As one of the fifteen Soviet republics, Kazakhstan was often overlooked in the past and visitors rarely left the capital city. Now Almaty is a thriving metropolis, reminiscent once more of its strategic position on the old Silk Road. With the lifting of the shroud of communism a country of rare and dramatic beauty has been revealed. As the country is larger than France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Norway and Finland combined, we are working hard to bring you new and exciting experiences. Already we take you across the mighty steppes to climb into the Tien Shan Mountains and walk by the Great Almaty Lake. Arrive in Almaty at 16:35 hrs. We get transferred to the hotel. Time to relax at the hotel's indoor Spa. We shall depart at 1930 Hrs. for Gala Dinner at Indian restaurant with local dance shows, Belly dance etc. Return to hotel at 2230 Hrs. Guests are free to explore Almaty's Night life.
Day 02: Almaty
Breakfast in the hotel. We shall depart at 11:00 AM for high-mountainous complex"Medeo" & base "Chimbulak". The skiing resort chimbulak is located in pictorial gorge of the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains on the height of 2200 m above sea level. It's famous by soft climate, big amount of sun days, stable snow covering from November up to May and splendid sights of mountainous peaks and ranges. Medeu- the biggest in the world high mountainous complex of winter sport. Skating rink is in the Medeu hole on the height of 1700m above sea level, built in 1972, is made for speed skating. Even when the rink is closed people come to relax at the shashlik and drink stands, and to take a walk in the surrounding valleys and hills. You can rent skates for 2000T per two hours, & either leave your passport or 10,000Tenge as deposit. Return to city at 1430 Hrs. to have lunch at Indian Restaurant. We shall then visit Kok-Tobe from 1530-1730 Hrs. From here you can get a full view of the city. Return to hotel. Relax time. We shall then depart for Indian Restaurant at 2130 Hrs. Return to hotel at 2300 Hrs. Guests can explore Almaty Disco Night fever.
Day 03 :Almaty
Breakfast at hotel. Conference time from 1000-1300 Hrs. with tea/coffee break. Lunch at Indian restaurant from 1330-1415 hrs. We shall embark on a panoramic tour of Almaty, including The Republic square, The Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre, The Panfilov`s Park of the 28th heroes, The Cathedral of the Holy Ascension,The Abai square, The President Residence & The Central State Museum. Shopping Time from 1700-1830 Hrs at the Mega City center mall.We shall return to hotel at 19:00 Hrs. Dinner at Indian restaurant from 2130-2230 Hrs.Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Guests have free time to explore Almaty night life after 2300 Hrs.(Places to visit--strip club/cabaret etc. will be advised).
Day 04: Almaty
Breakfast in the Hotel. We shall depart at 1100 hrs for Kapchagai. Our guest can enjoy water activities and play at Casino located nearby. Taking a trip to Lake Kapchagai is a favorite day trip for Almaty dwellers. Kapchagai is a small satellite town of Almaty, famous for the large lake of the same name and for a pottery and china factory. Kapchagai Lake is a man-made reservoir formed in 1966 for the purpose of building the Kapchagai Hydroelectric power station in the middle flow of the Ili river.Return to Hotel at 1800 hrs.Relax time. Dinner transfer at 2130 and return to hotel at 2300 Hrs
Day 05: Almaty - Bhubaneswar
We check out by 05:00 hrs. Transfer to Almaty airport for your flight back to India. Board the flight KC 907 departing at 07:15hrs. Arrive Delhi at 10:15 hrs. Later board your connecting flight back to Bhubaneswar
