Day 01 : Arrive  Puri

Konark-Raghurajpur

Visit The most awaited Lord Jagannath temple. This 12th century temple is known for its annual Rathayatra or car festival. Later proceed to the famous temple at Konark. This beautiful Sun temple built in the 13th century in honour of the Sun God is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its exquisite carvings testify to the high standard of ancient Odia art and architectural skill. Drive through Fishermans village at Chandrabhaga Beach. Afternoon visit Raghurajpur a Heritage Craft village where the entire community is involved in making PattaChitra-miniature painting which is executed on a small strip of cotton cloth using artistic engraved Palm Leafs driven by religious themes.

Day 02 : Chilika

Satapada on Chillika - Nalban

Proceed to Chilika lake. Spread over an area of 1,100-sq-km, the glorious stretch of the Chilika is Asia's largest brackish water lake. Take a boat trip on the lake to meet Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature. Visit Rajhans island where sea meets the lake. Visit 'Nalban' island home to thousands of colorful birds throughout the year, it is particularly noisy with the din of the raucous influx of migratory birds who descend on it from as far off as Siberia in winter.

Day 03 : Puri to Bhubaneswar

Pipili- Hirapur-Dhauli-Ancient Temples

This morning after breakfast, drive to Pipli -The Appliqué Village, Best known for the gorgeous appliqué work. Later visit Hirapur which enshrines 64 Yogini temple of 9th Century. This Hypaethral temple is an archeological wonder till today. Visit Dhauli, on the banks of the River Daya, houses the marvelous Edicts of Ashoka imprinted on a mass of rock & a grand Shanti Stupa or Peace Pagoda built in 1972 by the Japan Buddha Sangha and the Kalinga Nippon Buddha Sangha. On reach at Bhubaneswar experience the centuries long legacies of Utkalian temple architecture. Visit Lingaraj Temple-the masterpiece, Mukteswar, Rajarani & Brahmeswar Temple

Day 04 : In Bhubaneswar

NandanKanak – Tribal Museum – Kahandagiri & Udaygiri

Morning proceed to Nandankanan Zoolgical Park famous for its 34 white tiger population. Later visit Tribal Museum, A specialized ethnographic museum with 5850atribal artifacts including 3000 rare objects has been displayed in 5 air conditioned Display Halls. Life size statues of male & female of primitive tribal groups have also been displayed. Later proceed to Khandagiri & Udaygiri Caves built in 1st century B.C are honeycombed with excavated rock-cut single & double storied caves, essentially meant for the dwelling retreats of the Jaina recluses.

Day 05: Bhubaneswar to Bhitarakanika

Lalitgiri – Ratangiri – Udaigiri - Bhitarakanika Camp

Today morning proceed to Bhitarakanika. Enroute visit  Ratangiri two large Monasteries, a huge stupa, Buddhist shrines and several sculptures were surfaced. At Lalitgiri a series of brick pagodar, stone porches, prayer halls and Buddhist images were unearthed. At Udaigiri ruins, The magnificently carved door jamb of the Vihar and the superbly finished Buddha images form perhaps the greatest concentration of the post-Gupta period Buddhist sculptures. Arrive Camp at Bankuala, a village just outside of Bhitakanika sanctuary. Check in to the Camp & free for a Walk inside the village or relax at the Camp.

Day 06: Bhitarkanika

Sanctuary visit

Visit captive breeding of Crocodiles in Pools and feeding. This is the place where you can find white Crocodile (Only of its kind in India). Watch the activity of Pitan inside the forest. You will also find hundreds of spotted Chital Deers in and around. Later proceed to Bagabana (Birds Island with Motor Launch. Enjoy a Long Stretch of walk inside the Bhitarkanika Island & spot the Birds inside the Jungle around Water Bodies. Spot the Crocodiles basking on the side of the creeks.

Day 07 : Bhitarkanika to Chandipur

Ekkakula island – Garhimata - Chandipur Beach

Breakfast at lodge. Take the motorboat to Ekkakula, 4 hours away. An island on the Bay of Bengal, unknown and unspoilt, with a breathtaking view of the sunset. Look out for wildboars, hyenas, and jackals. Dolphins can also be spotted in the sea. Visit the Olive Ridley Turtle nesting site on the beach at Garhimata. Later drop at Khola Jetty & take a drive to Chandipur, a peaceful seaside resort where the seas recede twice daily up to 5 kms giving oppertunity to collect the souvenirs & drive into exposed sea bed.

Day 08: Chandipur to Simlipal

Nature Walk

Drive to Simlipal Sanctury, which has an amazing 1076 species of flora within the reserve, including 92 orchid varieties, is an ideal weekend getaway for the nature lover. This Biosphere Reserve is home to tigers and leopards amongst other wild animals, and also supports the crocodile-breeding farm in Ramtirtha, Jashipur. Take a guided nature walk and nature study at Herbal Nursery. Visit to Crocodile Breeding Farm.

Day 08: In Similipal

Jungle Safari-Barehipani-Joronda waterfall

Today after an early breakfast start for Jungle Safari by jeep to visit Barehipani, Cahala and Joranda waterfalls. Overnight at Ramatirtha.

Day 09 : Similipal to Bhadrak

Similipal Park - Panchlingeshwar - Kuldiha

Drive to Panchlingeshwar on the Nilagiri Hills. Visit Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, 272 sq. km Wide variety of wild life tiger, gaur, sambar, reptiles and birds, among others

Day 17 : Departure

Time to bid farewell with sweet memories of your experiences. Tour Ends.
