Day 01:Bhubaneswar -Kathmandu
On arrival you are greeted at the Kathmandu airport and driven to your hotel. Depending on the time you arrive, you walk around in the tourist district of Thamel. Overnight at hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu
After breakfast , discover the Nepalese capital and Swayambhunath (literally " that which is born by itself ") located on a hill west of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is emblematic of the religious diversity of Nepal which combines Buddhist and Hindu temples , stupas and pagodas. Overnight at hotel .
Day 03 :Kathmandu - Chitwan National Park [ 200 Km - 3/4 hour drive]
In the morning you drive to the Chitwan reserve . Enjoy a free afternoon . Overnight in a lodge in the heart of the jungle.
Day 04: Chitwan National Park
Early in the morning , go on an elephant or jeep safari in the jungle of Chitwan Park , the oldest national park of Nepal which stretches over 900km ². Enjoy lunch at the lodge before leaving for a walk in the park. You can go canoeing . Overnight at lodge.
Day 05:Chitwan National Park - Pokhara [ 5/6 H - 200 km ]
Leave in the morning for Pokhara situated in the foothills of the Annapurna and famous Machhapuchre. You will enjoy exceptional views of the Himalayas. Once you have checked in to the hotel you can walk into the city and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Phewa . Overnight at hotel .
Day 06:Pokhara [4 H - 200 km]
During the day, walk freely or opt for outdoor activities such as mountain biking or a motorcycle ride in the neighboring villages. You can also visit Sarangkot hills that offer a beautiful view of the mountains. Overnight at hotel .
Day 07:Pokhara - Kathmandu [30 minute flight ]
You are transferred to Pokhara airport in the morning to take a flight to Kathmandu. Free time on arrival in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel
Day 08:Kathmandu - Paro - Thimphu (2300 m) [1+ 1:30 H flight route]
Morning after breakfast shall be dropped at Airport for your flight to Paro. Once you land in Bhutan you take the road to Thimphu. Walk into the city center in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel .
Day 09:Thimphu (2300 m) - Punakha (2300 m) [3 H drive - 80 Km]
In the morning, visit the Chorten Memorial where pilgrims say their prayers. Then visit the historic Changangkha temple from the 15th century. The people of Punakha gather there each day with fervor. You will also visit the Folk Heritage Museum which houses objects and remains of the cultural heritage of Bhutan. In the late afternoon, take the road to Punakha. En route, stop by Lobeya to visit the monastery of Chime Lakhang.
Day 10:Punakha Tsechu
This day takes you to the occasion of the great festival of Punakha. Attend this festival that combines the joys of Christmas with religious ceremonies in a mysterious and spiritual atmosphere. Overnight at hotel .
Day 11: Punakha - Paro [142 Km - 4/5h drive]
From Punakha you leave early in the morning to get to Paro for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Drukyel and Kyichu Lhakhang Dzong and the National Museum exhibiting superb paintings representing the various cycles of the Buddhist tradition. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12:Paro ( 2300 m ) [5 H - 120 km ]
During the day, visit the Taktsang Monastery, also known as the " Refuge of the Tiger". The monastery is perched on a cliff 3000 meters above sea level and is one of the most revered pilgrimages in the Himalayan world. After the tour, you can enjoy some free time in Paro. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13:Paro – Kolkata- Bhubaneswar
Today morning after breakfast shall be dropped at airport for your flight back home with sweet memories of holidays.
