Day 01 :Bhubaneswar - Cochin

Upon arrival our representative shall be transferred to the hotel. Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later, proceed for a half day city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Cochin which is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 02:Cochin – Kodanad – Kalady - Athirapally (78 kms.)

Morning start your journey to Kodanad to visit the Elephant Kraal. Kodanad is a beautiful rural riverside village and a popular picnic spot and tourist destination in the Ernakulam district of the state of Kerala in southern India. Elephant rescue and care centre for central and southern forest region of Kerala is located in Kodanad. Tourists informally get a chance to experience hands-on bathe and massage of adult and baby elephants under the supervision of its Mahouts. Kodanad offers elephant safari to the visitors at the main park. At the park, the old Kraal is maintained to house elephants, which is a structure made of wood compartments that can accommodate up to 4 elephants. Post Breakfast continue your journey to Kalady. Once a remote village in Cochin, Kalady the birthplace of Adi Sankaracharya, the great Indian philosopher of the 8th century. Visit Adi Sankara Mutt, believed to be located at the place where Sankaracharya's house was located. The black pole to the left of the entrance is said to mark the exact spot where Sankaracharya was born. Visit nine-storeyed Sri Adi Sankara Keerthi Sthamba Mandapa that has illustrations in it that tell the story of Sankara's life. It is open from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
11:00AM: Proceed to Athirapilly which is within the breathtaking embrace of the deep forests, a rich and diverse flora & fauna abounds. Athirapally Waterfalls are often referred to as the Niagara Falls of India. Behold the spectacular view of the crashing 80 ft waterfalls. Athirapally lying with the wilderness of the Sholayar Range with a breathtaking embrace of the deep forests, a rich and diverse flora & fauna abounds. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03:Athirapally

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Thumpurmuzhi Gardens, Charpa Falls, Vazhachal Forest Gardens & Water Falls. The Vazhachal waterfalls are located very close to the Athirapally Falls and are a part of the Chalakudy river stream. Optional activities: Enjoy a Spot Fishing in the river. Pay a visit to the tribal village, trek to the base of the waterfalls. Find your way through the Jungle (subject to permission from the forest department). Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 04: Athirapally – Nadukani (250 kms/06½ hrs.)

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Nadukani, a natural paradise in the district of Idukki. It is compressed with Romantic misty mountains, bubbling brooks and lovely dark woods - it is just perfect nature all the way with all its charm and serenity. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. The major attractions are : Malankara Reservoir the reservoir is ideal for boating and fishing. Elaveezhapoonjira is surrounded by three enchanting hills, a good cool place for panoramic views, village visit and trekking. Thommankuthu is a beautiful seven-step waterfalls offering salubrious weather. Amidst verdure foliage, this shimmering waterfall is a perfect place to spend time in the lap of nature. The ride to the waterfalls is a jungle safari by itself. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 05: Nadukani

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the day excursion of Nadukani, a place where the Mother Nature is waiting to talk & play with you. The place away from the baffling city life. The sightseeing places includes Kalvari Mount which is a pilgrim spot with panoramic view of beautiful hills, greenery, village life, vegetation and bird's eye view of Idukki dam catchment area. It is an ideal place for trekking and relaxation. Hill View Park, Cheruthoni which is a multi terrain natural park, where you get a bird's eye view of Idukki & Cheruthoni Dams and Lake. Also visit Paramada Echo Point, Kulamavu Dam, Idukki Arch Dam. Optional Activities: River Crossing, Camping, Cycling, Trekking, Jeep Safari, Boating, Plantation tour, Plant a Tree, Bird watching, Campfire. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 06: Nadukani – Thekkady (90 kms/03 hrs.)

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Natures own little hideout nestled in the hills of Thekkady. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 07: Thekkady

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the most attractive feature of Thekkady i.e. Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. The place where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. You can recreate yourself by having Optional activities like spice plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant ride. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 08: Thekkady – Cochin (195 kms/06 hrs.)
