Day 01: (Monday) Bengaluru
Begin your tour at the luxurious Taj West End Bengaluru. Enjoy High Tea at the Banquet Hall followed by a presentation on The Golden Chariot Tour, Do's and Don'ts, safety and security instructions. This is followed by a visit to the Chitrakala Parishad / Art Gallery with Cultural Show. Later depart for the Yeshwantpur Railway Station where you are welcomed aboard the train. Dinner onboard the Golden Chariot. Depart for Mysore. Overnight on the train.

Day 02: (Tuesday) Chennai - Pondicherry
Arrive at Chennai. Breakfast onboard The Golden Chariot. Drive through the Marina Beach road by coach en route to Mahabalipuram. At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit the Five Rathas Temple, Shore Shiva Temple and the caves built between the 7th and 9th century. Lunch at GRT Temple Bay (Radisson). Drive to the Pondicherry (Puducherry) Railway Station to refresh on board The Golden Chariot train. In the evening, stroll on the pristine Pondicherry beach. Dinner on board the Golden Chariot. Overnight on the train.

Day 03: (Wednesday)Pondicherry
Breakfast onboard The Golden Chariot. Later a tour through Auroville township and Matrimandir. Lunch onboard The Golden Chariot. In the afternoon, visit the Aurobindo Ashram. Stroll on through the French town, enjoy shopping. Dinner at a local restaurant. Depart to Trichy. Overnight on the train.

Day 04: (Thursday)Trichy - Tanjore
In the morning arrive at Trichy. Breakfast on board The Golden Chariot. Visit the ghats in Trichy and drive towards Tanjore by coach. Visit the Brihadeshwara Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at Sangam Hotel, Tanjore. In the afternoon, visit a Tanjore artifacts and paintings workshop. Return on board The Golden Chariot to relax. Dinner on board The Golden Chariot. Depart for Madurai. Overnight on the train.

Day 05: (Friday) Madurai
In the morning, arrive at Madurai. Breakfast on board The Golden Chariot. Visit the famed Meenakshi temple, followed by shopping. Lunch on board The Golden Chariot. See a Light & Sound show at the Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal in the evening. Dinner with live Classical Music at the Heritage. Return onboard The Golden Chariot. Depart for Nagercoil. Overnight on the train.

Day 06: (Saturday) Nagercoil - Kanyakumari - Thiruvananthapuram - Kovalam
Arrive at the Nagercoil Railway Station at 5:15 hours. Depart for Kanyakumari by coach to catch the sunrise. Return to the train for breakfast. Visit the famous Padmanabha Palace. Lunch on board The Golden Chariot. Depart for Thiruvananthapuram. On arrival at the Thiruvananthapuram Station, drive to Kovalam Beach by coach. Stroll along the famous Kovalam beach. Enjoy a Cultural Show followed by dinner at The Taj Green Cove Kovalam. Return on board the train. Depart to Alleppey. Overnight on the train.

Day 07: (Sunday) Alleppey - Cochin
Breakfast on board The Golden Chariot. On arrival at Alleppey, set off on a House Boat cruise with wine/beer/coffee, snacks and Kerala cuisine lunch on board the boat. Drive to Cochin (Kochi) to visit the Church, Chinese Fishing nets and walk around Jew Town. Return on board the train for dinner. Depart for Bengaluru. Overnight on the train.

Day 08: (Monday)Bengaluru - Bhubaneswar
Breakfast on board The Golden Chariot. Arrive at the Yeswanthpur Railway Station in Bengaluru at 11.00 hours. Later shall board your connecting train back home with sweet memories of holidays.
