EXOTIC THAILAND

8 NIGHTS / 9 DAYS

Day 01:Bhubaneswar - Bangkok - Hua Hin

On arrival meet our representative and be transferred to Hua Hin, which is a two and half hour drive. As Hua Hin is located on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand, it's hardly surprising that it is well-endowed with some great beaches. The latest themed shopping village with a feel of Italy is no-where other than at the Venezia Mall in Hua Hin The concept of a shopping village is simple: instead of building a boring shopping plaza with rows of anonymous shops, pick a photogenic world destination or a fun theme, add plenty of romantic photo opportunities, plus a couple of attractions and entertainment venues, and there you have it: weekenders will flock to your village every weekend to play the romantic photographer and incidentally eat, shop, play and ultimately fulfill the real purpose of such a theme park: spend money. The theme chosen by The Venezia is obviously Venice and you will not miss the San Marco's bell tower replica when driving through Cha Am on your way to Hua Hin. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Hua Hin

Day 02: Hua Hin

Today you can visit the palaces at your own pace. The current monarch King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikitt now both mainly reside at their summer palace in Hua Hin. Known as Klaikangwon Palace, meaning "far from worries", this residence is only accessible by invitation and there is an exclusion zone around it that stretches out to sea. It was built in Spanish style architecture in 1929 and the gardens are beautifully manicured and full of art from Java. Slightly further north is Maruekatayawan Palace. This was designed by His Majesty King Rama VI in 1923 and is a superb example of classic raised Thai architecture. Of particular note are three two-storied wooden pavilions facing out to sea. Halls are linked together throughout the palace and there are residential areas for royal consort members and naturally for The Royal Family. The Palace is open to the public daily from 08.00-16.00 FREE and is a must-see whilst you are in Hua Hin for a real glimpse back into Thailand's Royal past. The Palace is now fully restored and prides itself on being the longest golden teak palace in the world. You can find it within a few minutes drive north of Hua Hin.
Afternoon you enjoy the water sport activities the place has to offer. Watersports are becoming more popular and include jetskiing, kite boarding, waterskiing and banana boats. However, please do take care with these activities. After a fun filled day rest back at the hotel in Hua Hin. Overnight in Hua Hin

Day 03 :Hua Hin

After a lazy breakfast, you could explore the beauty of Hua Hin. For kids Santorini Park brings a slice of the picture-perfect Greek island to Cha-Am which is 20mins away from Hua Hin. From classic whitewashed buildings, colourfully painted windows, down to stone-paved paths and domed towers the place has an impressive lineup of shops, restaurants and an amusement park promise good times for everyone. The five zones at Santorini Park provide all-encompassing entertainment. Park Zone is essentially the amusement park part, with rides and games set on vast landscaped grounds. All rides are imported, including the 40-metre-high Ferris wheel, double-decker carousel, G-MAX reverse bungee, G-MAX giant swing, XD Dark Ride 7D interactive game and Asias first Wallholla climbing structure.
Another option is a visit to Koh Singto (Lion Island). This small island is situated just off the coast of Khao Takiab and its name literally means "Lion Island" as the shape resembles a crouching lion. It's a worthwhile spot to visit and boat trips out to it can be arranged in the fishing village of Khao Takiab. The island has decent rock formations and is good for underwater exploration, particularly while snorkeling. Fishing and sailing can also be enjoyed around the island. A round trip will last approximately 5 hours. Overnight in Hua Hin

Later at night dine at the citys coolest, funkiest street in Town at the Nimmanhaemin Rd which is Chiang Mais chicest neighbourhood. With bars, cafes, shopping and great nightlife at places like the Monkey Club and Warm up -a Sushi bar and a full restaurant, to getting tucked away down an alley opposite some street vendors at Four Oclock Bar you can truly have a great time.
