Day 01 :Bhubaneswar - Reykjavik

On arrival at Keflavik airport transfer to Reykjavik. Check into Hotel. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 02 : Reykjavik - Reykjanes Peninsula - Blue Lagoon

City Tour - Lava Fields - Hot Springs - Geothermal Spa
In the morning you will meet and greet your Icelandic guide at the hotel lobby. After meeting your guide you will go on a sightseeing tour around Reykjavik and explore some of the major highlights; the old city center, the harbor, Hallgrímskirkja and the Pearl. Next, travel to Reykjanes Peninsula to the geothermal field with hot springs, steaming vents and mud pots. There you will visit the famous Blue Lagoon, in the middle of the black lava field. Please note that the bathing fee at the Blue Lagoon is not included. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel in Reykjavík.

Day 03 :Geysers - Gullfoss Waterfall - Thingvellir

National Park and UNESCO Heritage Site - Geysers and Hot Springs - Majestic Waterfall - Farming in South Iceland
Start early in the morning with a pick up at your hotel. Drive to the ancient site of the original Icelandic parliament and a geologically fascinating area, Thingvellir National Park. Walk down the rift valley caused by the separating North-America and Eurasian tectonic plates. Then head to the famous Geysir hot spring area and view one of the most active geysers in the area with spouting hot water up to 30 meters, Strokkur. From there, take part in reforestation program located in the Haukadalur valley, where together you will leave your mark in Iceland by planting 5 trees and thereby reduce your carbon footprint. Continue your journey to one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe, Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall). Afterwards you will visit a horse breeding farm with a geothermally heated greenhouse and learn about the Icelandic horse and its special qualities. Dinner and overnight stay in Selfoss area for the next 2 nights.

Day 04:Thjorsardalur - Mt. Hekla - Landmannalaugar

Viking Farm - Amazing Nature - Highlands - Colourful Ryholite Mountains Depart from the Selfoss area and travel to the valley of the Saga Age farms, Thjórsárdalur. An area greatly affected by the 1104 eruption in Mt. Hekla, Iceland's most famous volcano. We then stop at the beautifully reconstructed farmhouse of Thjodveldisbaerinn. The original farm was buried by ashes from the Mt. Hekla eruption. Travel through the valley with its extensive birch woods, to the dramatic scenery and untouched wilderness of the highlands. Arrive in Landmannalaugar, an area with amazing range of colors, where the landscape is made from the beautiful multi-shaded rhyolite. You have the option of either bathing or walking in the area (bathing possible, depending on natural circumstances).

Day 05: Ilulissat, a UNESCO heritage site

Morning Flight to Greenland - Walking Tour of Ilulissat Transfer to Reykjavik domestic airport in the morning and fly to Greenland. Your Icelandic guide drops you off at the airport and wishes you a pleasant journey. Arrive around noon to the picturesque town of Ilulissat. It has a beautiful location at the mouth of a long Ice -fjord, filled with enormous icebergs from the most productive glacier in the northern hemisphere. A guide from Greenland will welcome you at the airport and drives you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel you will get a short introduction of your tours in Greenland and optional activity. Afterwards you will enjoy a walking tour in the center of the town with a local guide and learn about modern life close to the Arctic Circle. Return back at the hotel for a welcome dinner.

Day 06:Eqi Glacier

Boat Tour - Glacier and Incredible Icebergs
Today you get a pick up in the morning for a daytour to the Eqi glacier. Very few places in Greenland are as beautiful as the Eqi glacier, thrusting out in a fjord north of Ilulissat. Sail to the very edge of the glacier's frontline rising 80-90 meters above the surface of the ocean and enjoy lunch on board. Watch big chunks of heavy ice break off the glacier and tremble intensely into the water, enormous collisions, sight of icebergs shattering and not to mention the sound, is impressive. Afterwards you will be driven back. Evening is free of leisure.

Day 07:Old Settlements

Morning Hiking Tour - Afternoon free at leisure
In the morning, hike to the remains of the old settlement Sermermiut, situated by the Ice-fjord. Listen to the story about life and customs of the Greenlanders before European arrival, whilst enjoying incredible views of the icebergs in the fjord. The afternoon is open for own activities, such as visiting museums in town. Numerous optional excursions are also available that can be arranged on spot.

Day 08:Ilulissat - Reykjavik

Morning at leisure
The morning is free for own explorations. Enjoy the vistas of beautiful icebergs in the fjord or complete any final shopping for tupilaksor other handicraft souvenirs. Transfer to the airport in Ilulissat and flight to Reykjavik, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 09:Reykjavik - Bhubaneswar

Your holiday in Iceland & Greenland comes to an end. Transfer to the airport for your journey back home with sweet memories of holidays.
