Day 01 :Bhubaneswar - Trinidad - Port of Spain
Arrive at Piarco International airport in Trinidad and after completing the formalities you shall be transferred to your hotel. The largest and more populous of the two major islands, it is the southernmost island in the Caribbean. Overnight in Trinidad
Day 02 : Trinidad: City High Lights & Lunch at Marcas Beach
Depart your hotel for a city tour. Visit Trinidad's highlights on this comprehensive, half-day guided tour. You'll pass by the lighthouse, the striking Parliament building known as the Red House as well as the "Magnificent Seven", a row of imposing colonial houses originally built at the turn of the century as private residences. Continuing around the Queens Park Savannah, you'll make a brief stop at the tropical Botanical Gardens, a cool shady enclave of exotic trees and tropical flowers. Then it's a short drive to Lady Young Lookout for an excellent panoramic view of Port of Spain. Departing here, we make our way back to the Queens Park Savannah and make our way to the scenic coastal roadway passing through Westmorings, Bay Shore and Carenage, overlooked by Trinidad's Northern Range Mountains at one side and the Gulf of Paria on the other. This scenic roadway takes us by several secluded bays like St. Peters, Williams to name a few. Stop for lunch at Las Cuevas at Maracas Beach. Around 05:00 pm it's back to Port of Spain to your hotel. Day 03 : Trinidad: Day tour ASA Wright Nature Centre
08:00 am depart for a day trip to the ASA Wright Nature Centre Visit the world-famous Asa Wright Nature Centre, a 200-acre bird sanctuary and conservation Centre, located deep in the hills of the Northern Range. Following the 1.5 hours drive to the nature Centre, you will be met by your knowledgeable guide for an informative nature walk through the lush tropical forest with its exotic trees and colorful flowers. While actual sightings are not guaranteed, you'll want to keep a watchful eye out for exotic birds, such as toucans, manikins and hummingbirds as well as graceful butterflies that live in this unique environment. Following your 1.5 hour nature walk, we depart for the return trip to your hotel or you can arrange for a local lunch that is served at the Old Plantation House before the drive back to the hotel. Note:Please wear long pants and comfortable, low-heeled walking shoes. This is an active excursion and only suited for those in good physical condition. Sun block and insect repellent are recommended.Evening you can enjoy dinner at AVE with some steel band and experience the Hyatt waterfront. Overnight in Trinidad
Day 04: Trinidad: Day tour to the Caroni Nature Sanctuary
Morning at leisure. Depart your hotel at 03:00 pm. Today you depart for The Caroni Nature Sanctuary at 03:00 pm.
The Caroni Nature Sanctuary is a mangrove swamp covering an area of 40 square miles at Trinidad's North West Coast. After the 1/2hour drive from Port of Spain we board a large flat-bottomed boat and slowly travel along the beautiful peaceful waterways and lagoons admiring the bizarre Beauty of the Landscape and a variety of birds and other wildlife. The most astounding among these birds is the Scarlet Ibis, a large bright red bird feeding and nesting here. This tour is world renowned among ornithologists as it offers the observer an opportunity to see this rare protected bird with very little effort. As an added attraction you have an option of also visiting a 60ft high view tower (approx. 100 steps) from which you experience a fantastic panoramic view of the swamp and environs including the Northern Range - imagine placing yourself just above the clouds or just remain seated in the boats, while your guide keeps you informed. The almost surrealistic beauty of this famous nature resort will amaze you. After this relaxing boat ride we return to the main landing and make our way to Port of Spain. Overnight in Trinidad
Day 05:Depart Trinidad (POS) to Tobago (TAB)
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Tobago, the smaller of the 2 islands. Considered to be a more popular diving location, Tobago has many idyllic beaches doting its coastline. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure or go on an optional city sightseeing tour. During the tour you'll visit the historical Fort King George, where you get breathtaking views from this point. Continue the drive over to the Caribbean coast and up through the winding mountains, where you will enjoy more spectacular views as you look down on some of the village bays, such as Castara Bay, Englishman's Bay, and Parlatuvier Bay. Experience the heavenly feeling as you enter the water at Englishman's Bay for a short swim. Enjoy some refreshments before proceeding onto the drive through the rain Forest observing the lush flora and fauna, then over to the Atlantic coastline and up to the Speyside Look out. Enjoy local cuisine lunch at a tree house restaurant. Conclude the trip with a leisure drive down to the Argyle Falls to take a short dip before your coastal drive back to the hotel. Day 06:Tobago: Bird of Paradise
Today go on an optional tour, exploring and communing with nature at Bird of Paradise Island, named after the bird which once inhabited the island. Hop on board a glass bottom boat and take a ride from the shores at Speyside across the Atlantic waters to the island. Accompanied by your guide, experience nature as never seen before. Be amazed by the sight of a variety of magnificent sea birds, plants, trees and a few reptiles. Enjoy snorkelling at the islands best reef "Angel Reef and Japanese garden" where you may get the opportunity to see the largest brain coral in the Caribbean. Enjoy a carefully prepared local cuisine lunch before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Tobago
Day 07:Tobago: Day Tour - Buccoo Reef
Snorkel, swim, suntan & soak in the pool and gardens tour day. This morning take the opportunity to go on an optional tour to observe the life underwater. Hop on board a glass bottom boat and enjoy a short ten-minute ride to the reef to view some of the world's most spectacular fishes. Across at the gardens, see great formations of various coral plants and sea shrubs. Then it's over to the Nylon pool. Submerge yourself into the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, only to discover the best of the underwater world as you swim and snorkel to your hearts desire and enjoy the warmth of this shallow pool, found nowhere else in the world but right where you are. Come back feeling younger and livelier. Overnight at Tobago
Day 08:Tobago - Trinidad: Depart Tobago (TAB) to Trinidad (POS)
This morning, your stay in the paradise comes to an end as you are transferred to Tobago airport for your flight to Trinidad and to your home.
